The Scottish Days are actually very well connected in terms of transport.

By bus and train

Arrival to Wuppertal main train station

From the bus station at Wuppertal main station, take bus 620 (direction Remscheid-Lüttringhausen Rathaus - approx. every 20 minutes) to the "Wuppertal Kapellen" bus stop (approx. 11 minutes with 6 stops). From there it's about a 750 meter walk to the festival site. Total time is just under 30 minutes

Or, if you also want to take a ride on the "Schwebebahn" (suspension railway), you can take the suspension railway from “Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof” (direction Wuppertal Oberbarmen). After 6 stops, change to bus CE61 (direction Am Stadtbahnhof) at “Alter Markt”. From the “Müngstner Straße” stop you continue on foot to the festival site. Total time is a little over 30 minutes

By car

All roads lead via the A46 to the “Sonnborner Kreuz”.

No matter whether from the north/east via the A1 to the AB junction "Wuppertal Nord" or from the south/west via the A3 to the AB junction "Hilden". The A46 is a stage destination. At the respective AB junction, take the A46 in the direction of Wuppertal. Coming from the A1 (AB-Kreuz Wuppertal Nord) to the exit "Remscheid, Wuppertal-Cronenberg, Essen, Velbert A535" (31) and follow the signs "Wuppertal-Cronenberg ".

Or coming from the A3 (AB-Kreuz Hilden) to the exit "Wuppertal-Cronenberg, -Ronsdorf,-Elberfeld" (31) and follow the signs "Wuppertal-Cronenberg".

In any case, we continue through the “Burgholz” tunnel to Wuppertal. Leave at the “W.-Barmen, Bereitschaftspolizei” exit but stay in the left lane. Go left under the bridge (stay left). After the traffic lights turn right towards “Bereitschaftspolizei” or “Skulpturenpark”. Go straight through the first roundabout (2nd exit). At the 2nd roundabout turn left (3rd exit). Attention 30km/h zone. After about 100 meters, the CVJM-Westbund parking lot is on the right.

You have reached your destination.

Parking situation

There are around 100 parking spaces available on the grounds of the CVJM-Westbund at Bundeshöhe. This is far too little. We therefore recommend carpooling or traveling by public transport.
